今年７月に京都精華大学で行われたWEB講演会「日本におけるブラック?ライヴズ?マター運動を考える」に続いて、京都精華大学 在学生を対象としたオンラインの対話イベントを開催します。本企画では、BLM関西のメンバーをファシリテーターに迎え、メディアやポップカルチャーの例を取り上げつつ、日本におけるブラック?ライヴズ?マター運動の意義に焦点を当て、人種的正義、制度的抑圧、警察の暴力について、ディスカッションを行います。本イベントは参加無料で、京都精華大学の全ての学生を歓迎します。

Dear Students,

This event is a follow up to the webinar entitled “Black Lives Matter in Japan” held at Kyoto Seika University in July. Drawing upon examples from media and pop culture, participants will engage in a facilitated discussion with BLM Kansai members about racial justice, systemic oppression, and police violence, with a focus on the significance of the movement in Japan. Participation is free and the event is open to all Kyoto Seika University students.

 

*Please note that this is a discussion-based interactive event that requires participation from the attendees.
